The holiday season in Coachella Valley just got brighter! Magic of Lights is back at the Empire Polo Club and promises an enchanting experience for families, couples, and holiday enthusiasts of all ages. This dazzling drive-thru event offers the perfect opportunity to create cherished memories while immersing yourself in the festive spirit. Here’s everything you need to know to plan your visit.
What is Magic of Lights?
Magic of Lights is a drive-thru holiday light experience, featuring larger-than-life displays, twinkling tunnels, and themed installations that celebrate the magic of the season. From the comfort of your vehicle, you’ll journey through a winter wonderland illuminated by millions of lights synchronized to festive music on their specified FM radio station. Every year, it always seems like one of us is getting sick this time of year so it was nice not to have to get out of the car in the cold!

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Once you’ve completed your drive, you can park your car and step out into a mini winter village to:
- Grab some tasty holiday treats - we grabbed some tasty churro fries with strawberry syrup and a hot chocolate. Sooooo yummy!
- Visit Santa Claus for that iconic holiday photo - Santa is there daily until 8:00 pm.
- Capture Instagram-worthy photo ops perfect for sending with holiday cards or adding to your seasonal scrapbook. We definitely took our share of photos during our visit, both while driving through the light display and when we got out of the car.

Magic of Lights runs nightly now through December 29, 2024.
- Hours: 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM Sunday through Thursday, and 5:30 PM - 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
