As the winter chill settles in and the festive spirit takes over, our community is gearing up for a season of joy, wonder, and, of course, visits from the one and only Santa Claus! In this bustling time of year, local events take center stage, offering families and friends the perfect opportunity to embrace the magic of the season. From twinkling tree-lighting ceremonies to cozy winter markets, our town is alive with the spirit of the holidays, and Santa is at the heart of it all.

Whether you're looking for a photo opportunity with Santa, or a chance to participate in holiday crafts, we've rounded up the best local events that are sure to make your season merry and bright.

Santa In the Hills @ Anaheim Festival

The Anaheim Firefighters Association invites you to visit Santa Claus at Anaheim Hills Festival for photos on select dates and times from November 24th through December 23rd. The North Pole set up will be located at 8156 E Santa Ana Canyon Rd, Anaheim, CA 92808, near Panera Bread. Capture the joy of the season with a photo with Santa, for memories that will last forever. Photo packages start at $35. No pre-registration required.
November 24th-November 26th: Noon – 6 p.m.
December 2nd-December 3rd: Noon – 6 p.m.
December 9th-December 10th: Noon – 6 p.m.
December 16th: 1:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
December 17th – December 23rd: Noon – 6 p.m.
Prices start at $35; USB (all photos) included for additional $20 add on. Largest package is $65 which includes 25 b7x8 wallets printed and the USB. Our other option is the Anaheim Firefighters' Donation package, which is package A + AFF donation ranges $80. Our Santa spends time with each child-we don't rush their time with him.
The experience and all purchases made during this time go towards one of the nonprofits that the Firefighters Association helps throughout the year: The Eli Home, OC Family Justice Center, Anaheim Community Foundation, and countless others.

Holiday Tree Lighting Event @ Placentia Civic Center Plaza

The City of Placentia will host the annual Holiday Tree Lighting event at the Civic Center Plaza. The event will feature performances by the Musical Theatre University, the lighting of the Menorah by the Chabad Beth Meir Hacohen, Holiday crafts, hot chocolate and coffee sponsored by Golden State Coffee Roasters, tasty treats, photos with Santa Claus, and the lighting of the Holiday Tree.
