Zoomars Petting Zoo! Review

By Jennifer Nguyen February 5, 2018

Nestled in San Juan Capistrano, Zoomars is a unique petting zoo where you can meet, feed, and get acquainted with their sweet animals! If you have children who love petting, feeding, and sitting with animals…this is the place for you!

They have unique petting pens where you can get up close and personal with their guinea pigs and bunnies! They also have llamas, alpacas, goats, pigs, and an emu! They have baskets of animal feed for sale to feed any of their animals. They also have a mini-train, panning for gemstones, a corn box, and a playground to keep your little ones entertained if you get tired of petting and feeding the animals.

Both of our girls (aged 3 and 2) LOVED Zoomars and loved being able to touch, feed, and play with the guinea pigs and bunnies. Fun fact, llama’s spit! We figured that out the hard way, but that didn’t stop the girls from loving and feeding them!

Zoomars is a great place for preschoolers, but older kids have just as much fun exploring, feeding, and petting their animals! Most visits last about 2 hours but you’re welcome to stay all day! They do have a changing table where you can change your little one, but their restroom is a portable potty (for all the potty training mommys). They also have plenty of hand sanitizing stations and an open sink where you can wash hands.
