Last Saturday, Jan. 31st, I had the pleasure of hosting the "Miles From Tomorrowland" Premiere Event for this new Disney Jr. tv show!! Miles, a space adventurer, his bestfriend and robo-ostrich Merc and his blastastic space exploring family travel through the galaxy having fantastic adventures!
Miles From Tomorrowland premieres on the Disney Channel this Friday, Feb. 6th at 9am/8c! It was so much fun watching the premiere episode up on the dome of the Mt. SAC - Randall Planetarium!!
The kids LOVED Miles and all his cool gadgets and gizmos, including his hover skateboard called a blastboard and his quest-com that he uses to communicate with his family! I think they especially love the mischief he can't seem avoid when exploring the universe in this futuristic animated tv show!
I love that "Miles From Tomorrowland" appeals to both girls and boys and is one of the only space themed tv shows catering to kids at the moment. It incorporates science, space and engineering (STEM, anyone) as this super space explorer family travels thru space discovering new aliens, new worlds and making amazing space discoveries!! How cool is that!!!
