Looking for a fun way to encourage your 1st - 6th graders to read this summer? Check out Barnes & Noble's Summer Reading Program. It's designed to support reading initiatives and encourage children to visit bookstores and libraries during the summer months.
Step 1. Read any 8 books and record them in the Reading Journal. Students can read books from their school’s summer reading list as part of this program.
Step 2. Bring the completed Reading Journal to your local Barnes & Noble store

Step 3. Choose a FREE BOOK from our selection on the Reading Journal List at your local B&N.
The summer reading program lasts until September 2nd in which children grades 1-6 may select a free title from those listed on the form.
