By Joyce Lee, Publisher of Macaroni Kid Walnut September 6, 2013
Did you know that there's a Planetarium at Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) in Walnut?  It's a hidden gem that is definitely worth visiting! Here are some of the shows that we love to take our kids to:

Big Bird, Elmo and their friend from China, Hu Hu Zhu, take viewers on a journey of discovery to learn about the Big Dipper, the North Star, the Sun, and the Moon.  Recommended for preschool age children.

Two children are on the adventure of a lifetime when they build a rocket out of cardboard.  They go on an exciting journey through the solar system using nothing but an astronomy book, their own imaginations, and the magic of the cardboard rocket.  Recommended for kids 3-7 years.

There are many more shows, lectures and public telescope viewing opportunities for star gazers of all ages!
