PMCA 123: Second Saturday Spotlight Talk and Claire Falkenstein: Beyond Sculpture Book Signing
Spotlight Talks take place every second Saturday of the month at 2:00pm. PMCA docents lead engaging and insightful 20–minute discussions about works of art currently on view in our Main Gallery exhibition, Claire Falkenstein: Beyond Sculpture.
This month’s focus — Crash Landing
Part of a suite of paintings refrencing the 1992 Los Angeles Riots, Crash Landing is a layered fusion and a contour drawing of a nude male figure rendered as though it is being compressed in space.
Note: Spotlight Talks meet near the exhibition title wall.
Presented as part of our PMCA 123 monthly programming.
NO RSVP REQUIRED. Free with admission. Free for PMCA members.
