Brea Plaza 5 also has a monthly Autism Friendly Screening of various movies where the sound levels are reduced and lighting is kept dim. Check website for details.
I have been very impressed with the Brea Plaza 5 theater so far. The sound is excellent, the popcorn is tasty, the movies theaters and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The only thing missing in my opinion is the stadium seating. However, the theaters are usually half empty so having the screen blocked by someone tall sitting in front of you is a rare occurance. If it does happen, there will be plenty of other seats to move to! It's a great place to take the kids to see a movie and save the fancy (aka expensive) movie theaters for Date Night!
