It's a "Deep Blue Adventure" at Camp Heritage Oak!

Enjoy swimming, water slides, rock wall climbing, sports & art at Camp Heritage Oak!

August 11, 2016

This year, we invite the children in our community to join us on a “Deep Blue Adventure.” Main Camp is a recreational program with weekly themes such as “Neverland’s Mermaid Lagoon,” “Shark Week,” and “Great Barrier Reef.” Each day includes a special activity based on that week’s theme along with swimming (kindergarten-8th grade), water slides, rock wall climbing, time in the arcade, sports, and art. This year, we have made lunch time even more special with the addition of “Wednesday Grub Day” where we will enjoy an All Camp Cookout or have the opportunity to purchase food from gourmet food trucks!  As always, Fridays are special at Camp Heritage Oak with field trips for kindergarten through eighth grade campers and water play day for preschoolers and pre-kindergarteners.   A variety of Academic and Enrichment Camps are also available to round out your child’s summer!

Main Camp
Preschool-Pre-Kindergarten: The preschool and prekindergarten summer programs at Camp Heritage Oak provide a great balance of exploring, discovering, making friends, and learning new skills. Campers will enjoy participating in academic lessons, art projects, music, and scavenger hunts as they take part in themed actitivites such as making a “Snowstorm in a Jar” and participating in a “Tide Pool Show.” Water play days will provide additional excitement as they splash, pour, and have fun under the sun!

Kindergarten - 3rd Grade:
In addition to daily swimming, waterslides, and time in the arcade game room, kindergarten through third grade campers will also have fun creating their own camp shirts, enjoying a whipped cream snowball fight during “Arctic Glacier Week,” and taking part in a special tide pool show during “teeming Tide Pool Week!” There is no place like Camp Heritage Oak for a safe and enjoyable environmet for your child!

4th-8th Grade:
Special activities such as “Meltdown Wipeoput” (similiar to the TV show “Wipeout”) and jousting in an inflatable ring during “Neverland’s Mermaid Lagoon Week” are reserved strictly for the oldest campers. Fourth through eighth grade campers will also enjoy privileged activities like go-kart races and fun in the human hamster ball! As always, they will look forward to their time in our camp clubhouse where they can relax with their friends!
